The Alchemist's Forge

www.thealchemistsforge.co.uk www.facebook.com/thealchemistsforge Just had a Sam Glendinning pop in to the shop.  She and her friend were travelling to Jedburgh and decided to 'jump out of the car' to see Droopy Dandelion and got very excited looking round the fairy shop.  The pair were effervescent in their praise of our little craft shop and particularly admired the knitted pumpkins and butter dish.  During the conversation, they frequently mentioned her 'studio' which of course raised my curiosity.  It turns out that they are both fellow artists, Sam creating bespoke handmade jewellery near Biggar and her friend creating vinyl signage.  I very much appreciate their visit to the fairies and you might appreciate a look at Sam's webpage too.  So I thought that I'd add them to the blog to let you see her creations.

Aishling Bradford has been doing her Duke of Edinburgh's Gold Award project with Droopy Dandelion and this is her first finished article.  She has used various upcycling and upholstery techniques to achieve a great result with this wonderful bumble bee chair.  We are really excited to see her next project.
